NEW YORK 21st September – The first UN Youth Climate Summit was officially opened by the UN Secretary General, H.E Antonio Guterrez, and the UN Youth Envoy, Ms Jayathma.
The opening panel forum featured youth climate activist, Greta Thunberg (16 years old) alongside other youth activists from around the world.
This inaugural summit was attended by over 600 delegates. The program was packed with panel forum, interactive slot, sharing session, workshops etc.
Malaysia Youth Council (MBM) Vice President, Nurul-Huda, was present representing both MBM and Malaysia.
