Prime Minister Ismail Sabri is currently on an envoy to Indonesia meeting President Jokowi in hopes to explore opportunities of cooperation in recovery efforts post Covid-19 pandemic. Malaysian youths frequently intermingle amongst Indonesian youths engaging each other either on various international platform or directly on peer-to-peer NGO collaborations.
Malaysian Youth Council (MYC) hopes that the warm bilateral relations between Indonesia and Malaysia is utilized through increasing youth involvements on multiple avenues such as diplomacy, climate change action, ASEAN cooperation and more. Indonesian and Malaysian youths share similar aspirations and visions for the future and it is only right that both governments uplift and wholly support the platforms allowing both parties to achieve synergy.
Moving forward, MYC believes that youths from both nations would collectively collaborate on solving outstanding issues be that regional or global and is the key to a future of prosperity.
