SOCHI 3rd March – Malaysian delegates Eow Shiang Yen and Chin Hui Sian visited the World Youth Festival (WYF) International Airport.
Apart from attending lecture sessions, there was also an exhibition of Russians from different regions, showcasing their unique culture, costume, belief, tradition, and identity.
They interacted with the booth operators and experienced their hospitality, travel opportunities, culinary experiences, and warmth. It represented a precious learning opportunity to learn as much as possible about diverse Russian populations, including their Buddhist population.
There was also an exhibition area dedicated to displaying historical facts on various aspects of Russia including economics, politics, education, geography, and others. Besides, they also donated books written in Mandarin but translated from Russian language to contribute to the establishment of Sirius Library.
