Malaysian Youth Council (MYC) firmly stands upon respecting each nation’s sovereignty and hence places upmost importance in the prevention of current geopolitical tension between Ukraine and Russia from escalating into an armed conflict as the consequences of such events would amount into countless civilian casualties and severely affecting the economy for years on end.
Thus, both parties including NATO must commit to a mutual guarantee that an armed conflict would not escalate and MYC sincerely hopes that a peaceful solution can be achieved that benefits all parties.
