SOLIDARITY AND UNITY OF MALAYSIAN YOUTHS WITH PALESTINE
The current humanitarian crisis that is currently engulfing Palestine is exceptionally worrying. At a time when the global community are hard at work in maintaining access to the vaccines to fight off the pandemic, Palestinians are at the mercy of an endless conflict.
Historical writings have proven that Jerusalem as well as the districts in which Palestine and Israel are built upon have been lived in for over thousands of years by the Jews, Christians, Arabs and Armenians. However, since the conflict in 1948 up until now, efforts in achieving peace have been futile resulting in the countless deaths of women, children and youths.
The solidarity by Malaysian youths today is based upon the spirit of humanity that is held high by Malaysia and Palestine. Malaysian Youth Council (MBM), as a youth stakeholder calls upon every Malaysian regardless of race and religion to pay close attention on this global issue that is currently on going.
Acting upon truth and justice as the core ideology that is championed by all youths, the Malaysian youth condemns any form of oppression and urges relevant parties like the United Nations (UN) to take immediate action in dealing with this conflict. The fight against Zionist oppression in Palestine are also fought by peace-loving activists and the international community including the Jews who sympathize with the plight of the Palestinians.
Should the Palestine – Israel conflict achieve peace for an extended period of time, then we are certain that 2/3 of the world shall also enjoy said peace including Malaysia.
Global Peace Mission (GPM) Malaysia whom also happen to be a synergy partner for MBM have launched #MyAqsaDefender, a campaign to collect an emergency fund for the economic and educational development for Palestine seeking to raise RM10 million.
MBM also calls the Malaysian youth to contribute in ending the violence and defend the vulnerable upon each’s capacity and locality such as keeping them in your prayers, donating, fact sharing, onine activism including using TikTok as a platform.
Every belief and religion teaches compassion and fairness with each other. May the Malaysian youth referendum cross racial and religious boundaries and become a clear message in maintaining solidarity for shared prosperity.
