KUALA LUMPUR 24 Februari – Presiden Majlis Belia Malaysia (MBM), Sdr. Mohd. Izzat Afifi bin Hj. Abdul Hamid, telah menyertai mesyuarat bersama Presiden World Assembly of Youth (WAY), Datuk Seri Ir. Idris Haron, dan Pengerusi NAM Youth Organization (NAMYO), Ms. Leyla Hasanova.
Mesyuarat ini diadakan selepas Regional Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Youth Summit di Pusat Dagangan Dunia Kuala Lumpur baru-baru ini.
Mesyuarat tersebut membincangkan kerjasama dua hala serta peranan kepimpinan belia Malaysia dalam WAY.
Turut hadir ialah Naib Presiden Asian African Youth Government yang juga mantan Presiden MBM, Dr. Jufitri Joha.
Untuk rekod, WAY merupakan organisasi induk pertubuhan belia dunia yang dipimpin oleh wakil dari Malaysia, menjadikannya platform penting dalam memperkasa kepimpinan belia di peringkat antarabangsa.

MBM President attends meeting with WAY President and NAMYO Chairperson
KUALA LUMPUR 24 February – The President of Majlis Belia Malaysia (MBM), Mohd. Izzat Afifi bin Hj. Abdul Hamid, attended a meeting with the President of the World Assembly of Youth (WAY), Datuk Seri Ir. Idris Haron, and the Chairperson of the NAM Youth Organization (NAMYO), Ms. Leyla Hasanova.
The meeting was held following the recent Regional Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Youth Summit at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre.
The meeting discussed bilateral cooperation as well as the role of Malaysian youth leadership within WAY. Also in attendance was the Vice President of the Asian African Youth Government and former MBM President, Dr. Jufitri Joha.
For the record, WAY is the parent organization of global youth organizations led by representatives from Malaysia, making it an important platform for empowering youth leadership at the international level.
